I was born in Dublin in 1941. Went to Francis Street CBS, Clogher Road Technical School and studied marine engineering at Crawford Technical Institute in Cork.

After 20 years designing and overseeing engineering services in buildings, a change in circumstances brought me into record production. Since then, I have written over 100 songs and musical pieces; recorded 80 albums, seven of which have achieved gold or platinum sales; had a No.2 album in the Irish charts; a No.10 Christmas song; written a successful series of Irish legend books for children and produced a top selling language learning series.

My songs have been recorded by Joe Dolan, Sonny Knowles, Foster and Allen, Rob Strong, Tom Donovan and many others. My albums have sold in 15 countries around the world. One collection of albums spent over 100 weeks in the USA New Age radio charts and provided the trailer sound track for an oscar winning film.

I'm now retired and living contentedly in Youghal, County Cork.
